Can Anyone Join the OPIA?

All licensed private investigators in Oklahoma are welcome to apply for membership to the OPIA. Each application is reviewed and confirmed prior to admission into the OPIA. Membership is open to new and experienced licensed Oklahoma private investigators.

How Much Does it Cost to Join the OPIA?

New members are assessed a $125 fee that is good for the calendar year. Renewing members are assessed a $95 fee. 

Do You Have to be Licensed to Work as a Private Investigator in Oklahoma?

Yes. Oklahoma law requires all individuals working as an armed or unarmed private investigator to be licensed by CLEET.
